Kumbi is a personal budgeting app. This policy explains what the app processes and where it sends it.
Your financial data stays on your phone. There are no accounts; we do not ask for your name, email address or phone number. Data leaves the device only when you use an AI feature, and only for the duration of that request.
Name, email address, phone number, postal address, location, contacts, calendar, messages, health data, advertising ID. The app contains no advertising networks, analytics or tracking tools.
Your salary, income and spending records, fixed bills, debts and app settings are held in your phone's local storage. We hold no copy and none of it is sent to our server.
If Android's backup feature is switched on for your phone, the app's data is included by the operating system in your own backup (for example your Google account backup) and comes back automatically when you reinstall the app. That backup belongs to you; we cannot reach it or see what is in it. You can turn backup off in Android settings. Session keys are kept out of it.
Uninstalling the app or clearing its data removes it from the device; if you left backup on, a copy remains in your own backup.

If the app hits an unexpected error it sends the technical details to our own server: the error message, the stack trace, and the app and OS versions. This is not analytics — which screens you open, what you tap and how long you use the app are not tracked, and none of this goes to any third party. Your financial records are not included in an error report.
Voice entry uses Android's built-in speech recognition service. That service may transmit the recording to Google for transcription, and that transfer is governed by Google's own privacy policy. Kumbi never sees, receives or stores the audio — only the resulting text. If you never use voice entry, no audio is processed; the "Type a sentence" option on the same screen needs no microphone.
When the Premium screen opens, our server records that it happened, which feature opened it, and the date — counted against the same random device id as the AI allowance. Nothing else: no amounts, no categories, no text, and no record of what you did next.
This is not an analytics or advertising tool. There is no third-party service involved, no advertising identifier, and no identity that follows you between apps; the data reaches our own server and stops there. We use it for one thing: knowing which part of the app people are actually interested in paying for. The delete button in Settings unlinks these records along with the rest.
AI features are provided by Google (Gemini API) and xAI (Grok API). The summary sent to them contains the financial figures needed to answer your request and carries nothing that identifies you. Transfers use encrypted connections.
“Not stored on our server” in the table above means our server only. These providers may retain the request for a period under their own policies, and logging is currently switched on for Gemini — we use it to check answer quality and find faults. When you send a receipt photo, the whole photo goes into that log; anything in it besides the amount (a name, an account number, a phone number) goes with it.
Data is processed solely to run the app: parsing and saving an expense, producing an advisor reply, and tracking free usage allowance. It is not used for advertising or profiling, and is never sold to anyone.
Uninstalling the app or clearing its data deletes all your financial data from the device.
Your financial records are not kept on our server. What is kept: daily usage counter rows tied to a randomly generated device id (how many AI requests were made on a given day), and crash reports if any occurred. These are tied to that random id rather than to you.
They are deleted on a schedule: usage counter rows after 90 days, crash reports after 60 days. This happens on its own, without anyone asking. Your subscription status is the exception and is kept for as long as it is current, because it is the record of what you have paid for.
You do not have to wait for that. Settings → Your device id → Delete this device's records does it immediately, from inside the app, with nothing to write and no id to look up.
What that does is unlink rather than erase. The counter rows stay as numbers, with the device id replaced by a fresh random one and no record of which was which — we keep no mapping and cannot undo it. They then count towards nobody. We do this rather than delete because those rows are how we see how much the app is used in total, and once a row cannot be connected to a device it is no longer anybody's data.
Your subscription is not affected and its record is kept, for the reason above: it is what says you have paid, and removing it would take away what you bought. Cancelling a subscription is done in Google Play.
Writing to the address below still works if you would rather, or if the button fails. Note that uninstalling deletes the device id, after which we may have no way to find your rows — so use the button before you uninstall.
Kumbi is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from users under 13.
If this policy changes, this page is updated and the date above is revised.

Telefonunuzda Android'in yedekleme özelliği açıksa, uygulama verisi işletim sistemi tarafından sizin kendi yedeğinize (örneğin Google hesabınızın yedeği) dahil edilir ve uygulamayı yeniden kurduğunuzda otomatik olarak geri gelir. Premium ekranı açıldığında, sunucumuz bunun olduğunu, hangi özelliğin açtığını ve tarihi kaydeder — yapay zekâ hakkıyla aynı rastgele cihaz kimliğine göre sayılır. Başka hiçbir şey kaydedilmez: tutar yok, kategori yok, metin yok, sonrasında ne yaptığınızın kaydı yok.
Bu bir analitik veya reklam aracı değildir. Araya giren üçüncü bir servis yok, reklam kimliği yok, uygulamalar arasında sizi takip eden bir kimlik yok; veri kendi sunucumuza ulaşır ve orada kalır. Tek bir iş için kullanıyoruz: insanların uygulamanın hangi kısmına para ödemeyi düşündüğünü bilmek. Ayarlar'daki silme düğmesi bu kayıtların bağını da diğerleriyle birlikte koparır.

Tablodaki “sunucumuzda saklanmaz” ifadesi yalnızca bizim sunucumuz içindir. Bu sağlayıcılar gönderilen isteği kendi politikalarına göre bir süre saklayabilir ve şu anda Gemini tarafında kayıt tutma açıktır — cevap kalitesini izlemek ve hataları bulmak için kullanıyoruz. Fiş fotoğrafı gönderdiğinizde, fotoğrafın tamamı bu kayda girer; fotoğrafta tutar dışında bilgiler varsa (ad, hesap numarası, telefon) onlar da gider.
Veriler yalnızca uygulamanın çalışması için işlenir: harcamanın ayrıştırılıp kaydedilmesi, danışman yanıtının üretilmesi ve ücretsiz kullanım hakkının takibi. Reklam, profilleme veya satış amacıyla kullanılmaz, hiçbir üçüncü tarafa satılmaz.
Uygulamayı kaldırmak ya da uygulama verisini temizlemek cihazdaki tüm finansal verinizi siler.
Sunucumuzda finansal kayıtlarınız tutulmaz. Tutulanlar şunlar: rastgele üretilmiş cihaz kimliğinize bağlı günlük kullanım sayacı satırları (hangi gün kaç yapay zekâ isteği yapıldığı) ve varsa hata raporları. Bunlar adınıza değil, o rastgele kimliğe bağlıdır.
Bu satırlar belirli bir süre sonra silinir: kullanım sayacı satırları 90 gün, hata raporları 60 gün sonra. Bu, kimse talep etmeden kendiliğinden olur. Abonelik durumunuz bunun dışındadır ve geçerli olduğu sürece saklanır; çünkü o, neyin bedelini ödediğinizin kaydıdır.
Bu süreyi beklemek zorunda değilsiniz. Ayarlar → Cihaz kimliğin → Bu cihazın kayıtlarını sil bunu uygulama içinden anında yapar; yazacak bir şey ve bulmanız gereken bir kimlik yok.
Yapılan şey silmek değil, bağı koparmak. Sayaç satırları sayı olarak kalır; cihaz kimliği yerine rastgele yeni bir değer yazılır ve hangisinin hangisi olduğuna dair kayıt tutulmaz — eşleme saklamıyoruz ve geri alınamıyor. Satırlar artık kimseye ait değildir. Silmek yerine bunu yapıyoruz, çünkü o satırlar uygulamanın toplamda ne kadar kullanıldığını gördüğümüz yer; ve bir satır artık bir cihaza bağlanamıyorsa kimsenin verisi değildir.
Aboneliğiniz etkilenmez ve kaydı saklanır; sebebi yukarıdaki ile aynı: o kayıt bedelini ödediğinizi söyleyen şeydir, kaldırmak satın aldığınızı elinizden almak olurdu. Abonelik iptali Google Play üzerinden yapılır.
Tercih ederseniz ya da düğme çalışmazsa aşağıdaki adrese yazmak da geçerli. Uygulamayı kaldırdığınızda cihaz kimliği de silindiği için kaydınızı sonradan bulmamız mümkün olmayabilir; düğmeyi kaldırmadan önce kullanın.
Kumbi çocuklara yönelik değildir ve 13 yaşın altındaki kullanıcılardan bilerek veri toplamaz.
